Twilight in the Park FAQ

Can I place my order online?

You sure can. Click here to place an order online.

I don't feel comfortable making a transaction online. Are there any other options?

We're happy to send you a form in the mail, or accept your order over the phone. Please give us a call at (207) 289-3669 and we can talk about what would work best for you.

Is there a limit to how many luminaria I can dedicate?

No. In fact, it’s very common for folks to dedicate many luminaria for a number or people, or to order multiple luminaria in memory or in honor of one individual.

Will I be able to dedicate luminaria at the event?

Yes. We're thrilled to have such incredible support from the team at Aquarius Property Management, who set up an area where folks can make gifts and dedicate luminaria right at Twilight!  They will even walk with you to place your luminaria among the rest if you wish.

I'm unable to make it to Twilight. Can I still participate?

Whether you're able to join us on the 14th or not, a candle will be lit honoring those to whom you dedicated a luminaria.

Do you partner with the Center for Grieving Children for Twilight?

Yes! We're happy to partner with the Center for Grieving Children, whose children, teens, and families decorate luminaria that we proudly display.  The result is a vibrant celebration of those loved and lost.

How will I find the luminaria I dedicate among all the rest?

We organize luminaria alphabetically by first name so they’re easier to locate.

Can I take my luminaria home with me when I leave?

Absolutely. Many people find comfort in taking their luminaria home with them.

What if there's bad weather?

There is a rain date scheduled for the next day, Sunday, September 29th.  Click here for more information.

How can I help?

Where in the Park will Twilight be held?

Twilight will take place in the Children's Ravine area of Deering Oaks Park.  If you enter the park on the Deering Ave. side, you'll see our big tent and you can look for a parking attendant to help you find a spot.  Handicapped spots will be reserved for those in need.
